Barbados has a reputation for being expensive to eat and drink in restaurants and bars, this not strictly true, there are places to eat and drink that most people will find very reasonable, it's just a case of knowing where to go! There are some world class restaurants in Barbados offering great food and service and of course this is reflected in the price. Bars vary from local "Rum Shops" to Fun Bars, Sports Bars and everything in-between. Most bars have at least one happy hour, times vary.
